Rabbi Ruven Bar-Ephraim
and Jewish History from Hebrew University and was ordained in 1993 by Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institution of Religion in Jerusalem. Bar-Ephraim served congregations in Israel, the Netherlands and is presently the Rabbi of Or Chadasch Jüdische Liberale Gemeinde in Zurich, Switzerland. Bar-Ephraim is the founding Chairperson of ERA.
Rabbi Ruven Bar-Ephraim was born (1959) in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. After school he made Alya and was a member at Kibbutz Yahel for 10 Years, where he worked in the dairy farm. In 1992 he graduated with a master’s degree in biblical science
